Improving Access to Health Care.
The mission of the Virgin Islands Partners for Healthy Communities (VIPHC) is to improve access to primary health care services to the underserved population, including men, women, children and families; through outreach, education, system integration, case management, and community awareness.
VIPHC is recognized as the leader in facilitating and connecting primary health care services to the Virgin Islands underserved population, specifically, women,children and families; so that the underserved population has access to available health insurance resource; setting the standard in the Virgin Islands for best practices for case management services; and ever-evolving as an organization that is responsive to the changes in the health care system by informing policy and practice.
- Compassion. Offer support and understanding for all clients associated with VIPHC — be a “voice” for the underserved who need access to health services.
- Dignity. Ensure that everyone associated with VIPHC is treated with care and respect.
- Collaboration/Partnership. Facilitate collaboration and partnership that will improve the underserved population´s access to health services.
- Professionalism. Set and promote the highest standards in the Virgin Islands for best practices to improve the underserved population´s access to health services.
